The Cardiac Center of Ethiopia hosted senior management representatives from Mesroy and Medtronic, Mesroy’s key supplier of cardiovascular consumables used in various cardiac interventions and surgical procedures.
During the meeting, the Children’s Heart Fund of Ethiopia (CHFE) presented the initiatives undertaken by the Cardiac Center, the first dedicated cardiovascular facility in the region focused on both patient care and the training of subspecialty professionals. They also highlighted the challenges faced in expanding services, particularly the critical need for consistent access to supplies and consumables.
Medtronic expressed its commitment to collaborate with the Center by supporting training programs aimed at enhancing the skills of CHFE physicians, facilitating access to essential consumables, and partnering in the organization of future cardiac missions
